What personal data Veean collects, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are
Veean UK Ltd (“Veean”, “we”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Our registered office is [TODO: registered address] and our company number is [TODO: company number]. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference [TODO: ICO registration reference].
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password when you create an account.
- Order details — delivery address, order contents, and payment status. We do not store your full card number.
- Usage data — how you move through the app, so we can see what works and what is broken.
- Support messages — what you send us, and our replies.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To fulfil your order — performance of our contract with you.
- To meet tax and accounting obligations — compliance with a legal obligation.
- To keep the marketplace safe, including detecting fraudulent referrals — our legitimate interests.
- Analytics and marketing — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Order and transaction records are kept for six years to meet UK tax requirements. Account data is kept while your account is open, and deleted or anonymised after closure unless we must retain it.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in some circumstances, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
