Draft — not yet legally reviewed
This document is a working draft prepared during development. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and contains placeholders for company details. Do not rely on it. It will be replaced before Veean opens to the public.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. This is your statutory right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Veean gives you longer: you may start a return within 30 days of delivery for most items.
How to return an item
Open your order in the Veean app, choose the item, and select “Start a return”. You will be asked to pick a reason and will receive return instructions.
Please return goods in the condition you received them, including any packaging, unless the goods are faulty.
Faulty or misdescribed goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, or a refund. If you reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund.
Refunds
We refund to your original payment method once the returned goods reach us and have been checked. Refunds include the VAT you paid, and the standard delivery charge where the whole order is returned.
We aim to process refunds within 14 days of receiving the goods back.
Items that cannot be returned
Some goods are excluded from the right to cancel, including sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed, and goods made to your specification.
This does not affect your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
